On March 21 - 22, 2020, I participated in the Shelter Residency during the covid-19 pandemic.
During the residency, I continued work on a personal project, which began in 2016. This project, Confabulations, is a collection of poems created from deconstructed emails that reflect on miscommunication, perception of language, and memory.
The Shelter Residency is hosted by Overland Artworks (OLAW). OLAW is an investigative space founded by artist Grace Clark, that is committed to the development of projects focused on the accessibility of art making and creative experiences, the creation of collaborative communities, and the investment of quality time, energy, and intention in the human experience.
